The Career Technical Education Center (CTEC) is a public-private partnership between the Salem-Keizer School District and Mountain West Investment Corporation. Since the private purchase of the 100,000-square-foot building, Mountain West Technical Institute of Technology President Chuck Lee has been working with both Mountain West and the school district to coordinate the improvements to the building and provision of career technical education to 1,100 high school Juniors and Seniors from all six high schools in the district.

Community Resource Trust has also been working with Chuck Lee to identify and secure funding for additional improvements to the building as the team increases educational opportunities at CTEC.
